coma #2

Sunday the seizures began and I thought they would go away. They did for a bit. Monday it all started again and we were back in the hospital. The put J. back into a coma around 10 that night. Although he was in a coma he was more awake on tuesday. Would open his eyes and moved a bit. They woke him up on Wednesday. He came home on Friday. I cant even believe that this happened again. It hurts so bad. The doctor told us that J. is only the second patient that he has ever seen that has had to be put in a coma to stop the seizures. What a crappy statistic.

He is home but not feeling so good. When will this horrible carnival ride from hell end??

until next time........

Sending you more prayers.
I didn't know that putting a person in a coma would stop the seizures. But he can't live in a coma forever.
How are you holding up. Keep spinng it is the best thing to keep you busy but like you said you can stop and start with no problems.

I've just found your blog and read the whole thing. I'm so sorry about your husband's health issues. I truly hope they find resolution very soon.

Your work is beautiful. You are too. Your strength is inspirational.

Sorry to hear things are tough at the moment. Epilepsy does suck big time. I am a mother of two and my eldest has it. Her first seizure went for 45mins (40mins longer then a childs should). they had to knock her out of it. Her second one for 35 (once again knocked out of it). Its not controlled with medication. We dont know if she would come out of one by herself if tested.
My thoughts are with you that they work something out soon
